Job Description

Application and Service Frameworks (ASF) unit inside Nokia develops and delivers Qt framework and Web Runtime (WRT), including development tools and SDKs, to create enablers for great user experiences across mobile and desktop environments.

As part of ASF, WRT core team works on realizing the web runtime targeted to bring a rich development and execution environment for web applications. This includes core rendering engines e.g webkit, scripting engines, bindings to native device APIs/services, web applications/widgets and lifecycle management among many other aspects.

We are currently hiring for a test and release integration engineer who will be concentrating especially on managing multiple releases for multiple platform and contribute to the quality of the product e.g supporting test automation, applying reviewed patches and verifying fixes, code coverage instrumentation for our products etc.

Success in this position requires good team working skills, persistence and a solid performer with a high level of motivation and drive. In order to communicate effectively you are fluent in written and spoken English.


To apply for this role, you are a qualified professional with a relevant degree and 3-8 years of applicable experience. You have strong expertise in

— Linux OS and its tools.

— Debian/RPM distribution, and its packaging system.

— git (and also svn) is essential.

— scripting languages like python, shell scripting etc.

— code coverage tools

You have experience in some of the following technologies:

— JavaScript, AJAX, web widgets / gadgets.

— MATTI test automation
