Within Nokia IT the Customization Software Tools (CST) team provides cross-platform variant configuration processes for all our mobile operating systems (MeeGo, Symbian and S40). To enhance our competence, we are now looking for an IT Configuration Manager for the CST stream.

The CST team, a part of the Software Delivery Tools products team, has global responsibility and is accountable for consolidated tool roadmapping and implementation, deployments and service with two key product streams.

Once you've joined us, you will be expected to contribute to product requirements setting and planning, provide technical input to product roadmap & release planning, and lead technical implementation in projects. In addition, you will ensure the product configuration is consistent with functional and non-functional requirements and architecture throughout its life. Finally, you will give input to the production manager for delivery preparation and the setting up of 3rd level support.


Our ideal candidate has excellent project and product management skills and a good grasp of product customization and related factory and R&D processes. Your theoretical knowledge is based on a relevant Bachelor's or Master's degree or other equivalent education. This is enhanced by experience from working in product programs in an R&D environment. Thanks to this background you understand SW engineering processes, domain-specific technologies, and IT project and product management processes and methodologies. You also possess good ICT system design skills and experience in the management of supplier relationships, performance and quality. An accomplished multitasker, you have strong team working skills and the ability to work systematically even under pressure. A confident command of written and spoken English and willingness to travel globally are crucial.
