Job Description



General Purpose




To drive the General Retail Management Operating Processes and development within Nokia Eurasia.

Main Responsibility Areas

The SU Head of General Retail is responsible for driving

  • Nokia market share by executing at Retail Point of Sales a consistent retail experience
  • Execution of all retail plans as per agreed Retail calendar
  • Solutions Activations at GR A+ and GR B+ outlets
  • A common way of working across LSUs for Planning, Budgeting, Implementation and Evaluation of Retail Initiatives.



The Head of General Retail is responsible for developing business programs which support the execution of the following activities at the LSU level. S/he will work closely with the LSU General Retail Manager to develop and implement the following programs.


  • Drive sell out from General Retail outlets and deliver lead sales indicators e.g. outlet coverage, Share of shelf, share of visibility, share of range, Retailer satisfaction, visual experience, GTM execution & compliance
  • Take lead in driving solution activations at GRA+ and GRB+ outlets by providing right capabilities and tools
  • Deploy FF management & Promoter management process in LSU's and provide channel agnostic support to Nokia Retail and Operator Retail as per SLA's agreed
  • Effectively leverage Channel and Retail insight and Field Force tools to continuously improve the quality of execution at Retail
  • Drive efficiency in GRM process, tools and work on alternative approaches to optimize ROI while maintaining effectiveness
  • Ensure GTM and retail marketing priorities are planned and executed at the outlet level and work closely with sales team to drive product availability at store level
  • At a SU level the role will be the primary point of contact for all General Retail Management activities. Drive cross functional collaboration with other associated functions like RCM, Academy, etc
  • Take lead to drive implementation of Global GRM processes like REX and GRM support tools like Retailnet. Drive change management initiatives in the LSU's
  • Support the deployment of competency development programs in the field of General retail management
  • Share best practices with the GRM community





Qualifications

  • Consumer & solutions focus
  • Business Insight & Business Planning
  • University degree in marketing, technology or business administration
  • Minimum of 10 years experience from sales and marketing area, including a comprehensive understanding of the dynamics of retail business
  • Ideally FMCG or operator back ground with exposure to Retail execution, Trade marketing, Promoter Management, Field Force Management, etc
  • Fluent Russian and English
