Job Description



As HR Director for the MeeGo Computers Products organisation, your key areas and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

· Key member of the MeeGo HR team

· Organisational development — including design, capability, way of working, resourcing and talent management

· Building and developing organizational capabilities and Leadership Talent; including key role recruitment.

· Competence development and talent management within the organization and contributions to the overall Mobile Solutions and Nokia Competency Development priorities;

· Driving activities / initiatives across MeeGo product teams, for example, reward, strategic resourcing, Engagement, headcount planning, site strategy and leadership development activities

· Drive product management capability, Cross Nokia collaboration with HR colleagues in Product management. With a priority focus on software.

· Accountability for driving HR processes (Compensation Review, Performance management etc) and HR services to over 350 people Globaly, currently with a large leadership and employee concentration in Finland.



Qualifications



As an ideal candidate for this position you already have a HR business partnering background and solid internal and external HR networks along with approx 12 years of relevant experience. This role requires you to see both the big picture yet have attention to detail, be analytical, responsive, and have good project management, cooperation, and networking and communication skills.

You have the capability to integrate organizations, evolving new organizations from separate teams, contributing strongly to organization, management and team development, site strategy and operational mode development. You are able to lead and contribute to strategic resourcing, talent & career development and partnering models and activities.

You have a proven track record in working with senior executives and are seen as a credible sparring partner and coach to the managers, with and expectation to contribute to general business and technology items as well as more traditional HR topics. You have the ability to challenge the status quo, influence, and sell your business case to leaders.

Ideally you have exposure and experience in building a software-driven culture and creating an increased level of software capability, preferably with the added challenge of doing so within a hardware driven culture.

You have an understanding and passion for consumer needs.

You actively research and maintain knowledge of what is happening in the external world especially as it pertains to Nokia's business and competitive environment.

You are able to work independently and as a team member with numerous different issues at the same time. You will have strengths in and responsibility for coaching global/local HR colleagues.



Experience/Background
